Bengaluru: Former chief minister Siddaramaiah on Sunday, October 25 challenged DCM Dr. Ashwath Narayan to bring prime minister Narendra Modi to Karnataka to review the flood situation in the state.
Addressing media persons Siddaramaiah said, “DCM Ashwath Narayan had said that he is more capable than me, if so let him bring Narendra Modi to Karnataka to solve the flood issue.”
“There are BJP 25 MPs in the state but they are of no use, they do not have the capability to get compensation from the central government for the Karnataka floods.
He further added, “Despite having 25 BJP MPs in the state the Karnataka government has not received any compensation from the central government for the Karnataka floods.”
“Flood victims have not yet received a single penny from the government. Chief minister BS Yediyurappa’s visit to the flood-affected areas was of no use,” he said.
“BJP government is anti-people and corrupted government chief minister is receiving a bribe from many people,” he alleged.
