ASO of Udupi Fire Station Mohammed Gaus receives President’s Medal

Udupi: Assistant Station Officer (ASO), Udupi Fire Station, Mohammed Gaus received the President’s Medal for Meritorious Service for the year 2021 at Raj Bhavan on Monday, November 7.

The medal was conferred by the Governor of Karnataka Thawarchand Gehlot.

Gaus joined the Fire Department in the year 1992 and is serving for the past three decades. In his service tenure, he has received cash rewards 33 times for his relentless service.

In the year 2012, he received Chief Minister’s Gold Medal for meritorious service.

He has also received service letters twice for his outstanding service.
