Mangaluru: The newly appointed Mangaluru Assistant Commissioner has denied the current Assistant Commissioner Ravichandra Nayak from taking charge of duty on Thursday, February 13.
As per reports, Ravichandra Nayak has sought a stay on his transfer from Karnataka Appellate Tribunal.
However, his successor claimed that he not received any order from KAT on the stay.
Reacting to this incident, Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner, Sindhu P Rupesh said, “Nayak should take fresh order from KAT and submit to his successor.”
She also said that the decision to organize a government-sponsored Kambala at Pilikula has not been taken due to a shortage of resources.
Responding to the increased bus fares she said that a meeting will be held with the Regional Transport Authority to discuss the increased bus fares.
