Assistant Headmaster arrested for sexual assault in Puttur

Puttur: The city police arrested nn assistant Headmaster from a government School for sexually assaulting a student of a government high school.

The arrested has been identified as Nadir (40) a resident of Olamogru, Puttur. The police have booked him under the POCSO Act here on October 16.

As per the sources, Nadir had sexually abused the girl student when she came to the school to pay her examination fees.

Following which the girl filed a case in the Puttur Rural police station.

Based on the complaint, the Puttur Rural police arrested Nasir under the POCSO Act and under Section 354(A)(1) (iv). The investigation is on in this regard.
