Karkala: Karkala MLA Sunil Kumar has condemned the slaughtering of cows in Chamarajpet, expressing outrage over the incident.

He criticized the state’s declining law and order situation and blamed such occurrences on vote-bank politics.

Speaking on the matter, MLA Sunil Kumar said, “Ours is a land where cows are revered as Gavo Vishwasya Matarah—the mother of the universe. Cows are worshipped as ‘Gomata,’ yet our society has fallen to such a depraved state where even the sacred cow is not spared. This raises serious questions about our collective conscience.”

He further remarked that the current government has created an atmosphere where lawlessness prevails, and fear of legal consequences is absent.

MLA Sunil Kumar demanded that strict action be taken against the individuals responsible for this heinous crime.
