Udupi: In the early hours of August 1st, an attempted break-in by four masked men at an apartment in Brahmagiri was thwarted. The men, armed with rods, tried to enter a flat but were unsuccessful and retreated from the scene.

CCTV footage from the incident shows the four men, their faces covered with cloth, attempting to enter the flat. They failed to gain access to the apartment and left the premises.

The flat targeted by the masked men belongs to an elderly couple who had traveled to Mumbai a week earlier. The CCTV captured the men attempting to break into the couple’s flat.

These armed intruders reportedly broke into several vacant apartments in the area, searching for valuable items and causing significant damage. They attempted to rob a total of three apartment buildings in the same neighborhood.
