Mangaluru: “For addressing the grievances related to development of the city, MUDA Adalat will be conducted at Mangaluru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) office on August 4,” said minister for urban development and housing, U T Khader on Saturday July 21st.
The Minister addressed the media and said,” “The developmental work within MUDA limits has remained pending or incomplete for several reasons. To sort out this issue and for a clear vision on the development of city, MUDA Adalat will be conducted, chaired by the deputy commissioner and MUDA commissioner.”
“To ease the problem of pending file clearance documentation work, we will employ file automation system from August 15 and software will be developed by the urban development department. Many changes need to be made in the days to come in land development, layout approval and building approval,” he added.
“There is also a plan to create a single- window system to apply for 30×40 and 40×60 sites such as plan approval, building approval and layout approval. Applicants can apply online and get their license immediately without any other kind of permission. Once applied, the concerned department will inspect the land and issue an authorized plan approval and building approval within a month,” informed Khader.
