Australian gold medalist used condom to fix her kayak, video goes viral

In a short video posted on TikTok, the Australian gold medalist in the women’s C1 canoeing slalom final and bronze in women’s kayaking K-1 final revealed that her team used a condom to repair her boat.

The text alongside the clip read, “Bet you never knew condoms could be used for kayak repairs.”

Although the video was captioned, “How kayakers use condoms.”

Jessica Fox had won the bronze with the boat repaired by condom ad later she returned to the water to win gold.

The organisers of the Tokyo Olympics have handed out 1.5 lakh condoms to the athletes.
