In a costly and unpleasant occurrence, an Austrian man accidentally drove his Lamborghini into a lake after mistaking the brake pedal for the accelerator.
The tragedy occurred when the man had dropped off his friend and was attempting to reverse park when the car sank 50 feet into the ocean.
According to an AryNews story, firefighters had to fish the pricey car out of the lake in Mondsee for three hours. Firefighters, a tow vehicle, and a crane were all involved in the rescue mission. Local police posted a photo of the automobile on Twitter.
Local police grabbed the chance to add some humour to the issue by saying that the owner of the retrieved car might have been auditioning for the position of Daniel Craig’s replacement as James Bond while publishing the image of the retrieved car on the microblogging platform.
