Auto-driver arrested in Ujjain Rape case injured while attempting to flee

In a recent development concerning the rape of a 12-year-old girl in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, the auto-driver accused, Bharat Soni, sustained injuries during an attempt to escape from authorities. The incident unfolded on Thursday, with Soni’s arrest earlier in the day, accompanied by the detention of three other individuals.

Inspector Ajay Kumar, from the Mahakal Police Station in Ujjain, provided details of the incident, reporting that Bharat Soni had suffered injuries to his arms and legs as he attempted to evade capture by authorities who were present at the scene of the crime.
