‘Auto Raja’ Monthu Lobo passes away at 86

Mangaluru: An 86-year-old auto-rickshaw driver, Monthu Lobo passed away on Saturday, November 5.
Monthu Lobo, a state-level award winner was an avid philanthropist hailing from Valencia parish.
He received the ‘Sarathi No 1’ award from the Indian Vehicles Drivers Trade Union in 2012.
He was rated the best driver of the year on World Drivers Day held at Sri Puttana Chetty Town Hall in Bengaluru.
