Avoid panic, don’t spread rumours: BBMP Commissioner

Bengaluru: Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagar Palike (BBMP) Commissioner B H Anil Kumar on Thursday, June 25 urged citizens no to panic in the wake of numbers of Covid-19 cases rising in the city.

Taking to Twitter he wrote, “Dear citizens, there is no need to panic as the government is constantly monitoring the situation and any plans to enforce a lockdown or seal down will be communicated officially.”

Requesting people to avoid spreading rumours, he said, “Please do not believe any news reports that are not issued officially. Request all not to spread rumours.”
