Hubli: In February, Ayodhya is set to welcome around 3,500 devotees from the state for a special darshan of Ramlalla, with two dedicated trains departing from Karnataka on February 19 for this sacred journey.
In consideration of the harsh winter conditions in North India, devotees from states in that region have been granted the opportunity for an early darshan of Sri Rama Lalla. Southern state devotees are advised to plan their visits starting from the second week of February, as the weather is expected to be less cold during that time.
The coordination of travel arrangements, accommodation, and food in Ayodhya will be managed by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and the Sangh Parivar. The Railway Department has organized special trains from various states directly to Ayodhya, with a designated nodal officer for each train. Devotees are required to book advance tickets for the special train journey, and breakfast and lunch will be provided during the travel.
From Karnataka, two special trains from Mysore-Belagavi have been scheduled for devotees to visit Ramlalla. Approximately two thousand devotees from the southern region of the sate, including the coastal region, will be accommodated. Devotees from the Northern region can utilize the train departing from Belgavi, with around 1,500 devotees being accommodated from this side.
The Vishva Hindu Parishad had previously acquired around 42 acres of land near the Ayodhya railway station to facilitate the stay of pilgrims. Temporary cities have been constructed on this site, featuring tents to accommodate approximately 5-6 thousand people. Originally used by pontiffs, saints, and dignitaries during Ramlalla Prana Prathansha, these tents are now allocated for the use of devotees visiting Ramlallah.
A Parivar Sabha is scheduled in Ayodhya to discuss important aspects such as determining who should be allowed to see Ramlalla, ensuring opportunities for all communities, travel arrangements, and overall preparation.
