Ayodhya: A year has passed since the installation of the idol of Shri Ram Lalla at the grand temple in Ayodhya. The sole focus remains on completing the temple construction within the set timeline, said Shri Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Swamiji, a trustee of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust and the head of Pejawar Math.

Speaking to Udayavani during a three-day celebration marking the first anniversary of the consecration of Shri Ram Lalla, Swamiji emphasized that the trust has no other significant objectives apart from completing the temple’s construction.

The work on the surrounding parikrama and the temple’s main sanctum tower is progressing at full pace. “Our only challenge is to ensure that all tasks are completed within the stipulated timeframe,” he said.

Swamiji called for collective efforts toward societal welfare, aligning with the values of Ram Rajya.

“Serving the poor is serving Lord Ram, and serving the nation is also serving Lord Ram. We must strive to realize the dream of Ram Rajya by dedicating ourselves to the service of the needy,” he added.

Millions of devotees visit Ram Mandir

Swamiji noted that there has been unwavering devotion and enthusiasm among devotees before and after the temple’s consecration.

“Every day, devotees from across the country visit Ayodhya for darshan. The arrangements ensure that their experience is seamless. So far, millions of devotees have visited the temple, and the numbers have not dwindled since the opening day,” he said.

Three-day special program

To commemorate the first anniversary of the consecration of Shri Ram Lalla, a three-day celebration has been organized. The festivities include rituals like Agni Devata Ahuti, the chanting of 6.6 lakh Ram mantras, recitation of Hanuman Chalisa, Purusha Sukta, Shri Sukta, Aditya Hridaya Stotra, Atharvashirsha, Rama Raksha Stotra, and Rama Stavaraja.

On Saturday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended the celebrations and addressed a gathering. Over three days, events such as Ram Katha discourses, religious sermons by spiritual leaders, musical performances by renowned artists, and rituals like yajnas, yagas, purnahuti, and panchamrit abhisheka are being conducted.
