Ayodhya verdict: Prohibitory orders in M’luru

Mangaluru: In view of the Ayodhya verdict, Mangaluru Police imposed Section 144 till 6 am of November 10 to maintain public order in the commissionerate jurisdiction.
Additional police forces have been deployed at sensitive places and vehicles entering Mangaluru are being monitored at interstate check posts.
As part of the restrictions, velebratory rallies or pocessions will not be permitted and liquor shops will remain closed.
Meanwhile city police commissioner Dr. P S Harsha has warned of stringent action against those spreading provocative messages on social media.
