New Delhi: Following Patanjali’s claim that they have found a cure for COVID-19, the Ayush ministry directed the company to stop advertising the ‘medicines’ till the issue is examined.
Both the ministry of ayush and the Indian Council of Medical Research have reportedly refused to comment on the claim citing lack of knowledge of the issue.
A government notification bars companies from advertising a cure without government approval.
The firm claimed that the two Ayurved-based medicines ‘Coronil and Swasari’ have shown 100 per cent favourable results during clinical trials on COVID-19 infected patients except those on a life support system.
“The whole world is waiting for someone to release a product to cure COVID-19. We have released the world’s first Ayurvedic medicine to cure COVID-19,” said Ramdev.
He also claimed that the trials on affected patients have shown 100 percent favorable results and it has shown a 100 percent recovery rate within 3 – 7 days..
