B C Road: Cop’s corpse found in an empty plot

Punjalakatte: A policeman’s corpse has been found at the empty plot in front of a private hospital in Vivek Nagar near B C road on Tuesday evening May 21st.

The police has identified the deceased as Jagadish (30), a resident of Chendtimar in Bantwal and was giving his service as a cop. The corpse was found at a corner of the plot behind a pile of mud and the hospital staff immediately informed the finding to the police.

Bantwal city police rushed to the spot, investigated and ascertained it to be Jagadish. The deceased was working in the DAR division of Mangaluru police. He had left for his home on Tuesday morning, but never reached.
