Baba Ka Dhaba owner Kanta Prasad has reportedly been hospitalised after he attempted suicide on Thursday night.

The police received a PCR call that a man, who attempted suicide, had arrived at Safdarjung hospital and they identified him upon arrival at the hospital.

Kanta Prasad shot to fame after Youtuber Gaurav Wasan had highlighted his plight in a video that went viral on social media and help began pouring from all quarters for the elderly citizen.

Kanta Prasad had utilised these funds to start a restaurant. However, he closed the restaurant due to the huge overheads and lesser footfall of customers and returned back to the roadside eatery in south Delhi’s Malviya Nagar.

Recently Kanta Prasad was in news again after he apologised to Wasan for defaming him.
