Back-to-back murders: DC orders closure of shops from 6 pm to 6 am till Aug 1

Mangaluru: In the wake of serial murders of youths in Dakshina Kannada, the district administration has announced that all the shops and commercial establishments shall remain closed from 6 pm to 6 am with immediate effect till August 1.
However, emergency and essential services including fire, hospitals, medical shops, among others will remain open.
Shops and commercial establishments will operate normally between 6 am and 6 pm, the order said.
