Bagalkot’s Chidananda Kallappa secures AIR-1 in NEET Super Speciality exam

Bagalkot: Dr. Chidananda Kallappa Kumbara from RannaBelagali town of Mudhol Taluk has taken the top spot in the NEET super specialty medical entrance exams.

Dr. Chidananda got All-India first rank in MD-Gastroenterology and MD-Hematology streams of the Super Speciality NEET examination for the year 2021.

Dr. Chidananda was born in a poor family as the youngest son of Kallappa and Kasturi Kumbara. He lost his mother at a very young age (1998). His father Kallappa, who works as a daily wage laborer brought him up and gave him the best education possible.

Dr. Chidananda graduated with an MBBS degree in KMC, Hubli. thereafter he continued his MD (Medicine) studies at the prestigious AIIMS in Delhi.

Currently, he works at the Global Hospital in Hyderabad.
