Baikadi: Fire mishap; home gutted

Brahmavar: A fire broke out and gutted a house belonging to Huvayya Shetty at Baikadi on Wednesday night. The fire was reportedly caused due to a short-circuit. Mr Shetty’s wife suffered injury during the incident and has been admitted to a hospital.
Besides, the fire also injured cows. All electronic equipment and coconuts stored within the house were consumed by the fire. Damages incurred are in lakhs of rupees.
GP vice president Sheela K Shetty, GP president Jayalaxmi Shetty, member Chandrashekhar and PDO Adarsh Shetty have visited the incident location.
