Bakrid celebration today

Udupi/Mangaluru: Bakrid will be celebrated at various locations throughout karavali on Aug 12th. Eid al-Adha namaz (festival of the sacrifice) will be conducted at Idgha mosque at Light House hill road in Mangaluru and at Jamia Masjid in Udupi districts at 8 am in the morning.
Eid celebrations will also be held at the various masjids in either districts. On this occasion, in the backdrop of the incessant rains and flooding, special prayers will be held for the safety and welfare of all the people, informed sources.
