Balehonnur: Tyres of moving bus detach; lucky escape for passengers

In a fortunate escape, passengers of a private bus, traveling from Bengaluru to Sringeri narrowly avoided a major accident when the bus’s rear tyres fell off at Rotary Circle in Balehonnur, N.R. Pura taluk under the jurisdiction of the Balehonnur police station.

Fortunately, the bus did not go out of control and came to a halt immediately on the spot, preventing any harm to the passengers. The incident has been captured on CCTV.

The mishap could have been disastrous had it occurred in the Ghat region through which the bus had traveled.
