Banaras gets bigger: Ace production house Panorama Studios acquires distribution rights of the film

Banaras continues to build more momentum and gather more hype in the run up to the release of the film. The movie which has been in the news from the day it was announced, has been making headlines every day. The latest is the distribution of the film and the rights have been acquired by D Beats in Karnataka and Mulakuppadam in Kerala.

Now the news is that the north India rights have been acquired by Ajay Devgan’s Panorama Studios. Ajay who is a major stakeholder in the company is well known not just in the acting community but also through Panorama which backs prestigious films. The label saw immense promise in the film and that’s how they came to be associated with the film.

Banaras meanwhile is a pan-Indian film directed by Jayatirta. To be released across multiple languages including Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam, stars newcomer Zaid Khan and Sonal Monteiro. The romantic entertainer also has time travel as a theme and has a very intriguing storyline. The movie has been shot in exotic locales in Banaras. The music has been scored brilliantly by Ajaneesh Loknath and all the songs have been hits. Banaras which has been produced by National Khan Productions will release on November 4.
