Mangaluru: JD(S) party member Madhu Bangarappa lashed out at senior congress minister Janardhan Poojary for providing wrong impression about S Bangarappa and also said that he belongs to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
Addressing the press here Bangarappa blamed Poojary for all the communal clashes happening in the district and said that he is an RSS follower. He said that Poojary has insulted the former CM of Karnataka, S Bangarappa in his book.
“Poojary’s book contains wrong information about Bangarappa and has mentioned that Bangarappa was a corrupt person. The court had acquitted him and declared that he was ‘not guilty’. On what basis is Poojary claiming Bangarappa to be corrupt.
Autobiographies should motivate people and not fool its readers, he said.
“Bangarappa was a noble person and people of Karnataka still remember him. Hence, things mentioned in Poojary’s book are false,” he said.
