Bangladeshi Nationals detained for overstaying in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Police detained Bangladeshi residents who were found to be overstaying even after expiry of their visa.
Kotanuru police had conducted a special drive in Sampigehalli following complaints that several foreigners, especially Bangladeshis staying in this area did not possess valid documents.
Police conducted a door to door enquiry and further probe into the issue and have caught hold of 19 Bangladesh Nationals who have over stayed their visa permitted duration in the country
Police informed that the passport and visa of all these people have been seized and issue has been brought to the notice of the senior officers.
