Mangaluru: In the backdrop of concerns raised over the removal of the photos of the founder and founder directors of the erstwhile Vijaya Bank from the Regional office of the bank, M J Nagaraj, General Manager of Bank of Baroda with which Vijaya Bank has been merged, has clarified that the photos were removed to prepare their photocopies.
Mr Nagaraj stated that the photos will be placed back in their original positions in the regional office once the photo copies are taken in a couple of days.

However, Mr Nagaraj the photographs were sent as per the direction of the higher-ups, as there were plans to have a museum in Bengaluru regarding Vijaya Bank and copies of the same were required.
