Banner proclaiming ‘Rani Abbakka flyover’ found on Thokkottu flyover

Mangaluru: A banner reading ‘Rani Abbakka flyover’ and a graffiti with Bajrang Dal written across the sidewalls of Thokkottu flyover was found on Wednesday, June 4.
A banner proclaiming “Rani Abbakka flyover” was found placed at the Thokkottu Flyover.
Some people had placed on the embankment of the flyover the banner which also had “Bajrang Dal” written on it using paint. An image of this has gone viral on social media.
Meanwhile, a banner with ‘Koti Chennayya Central Maidan’ was found at Nehru Maidan in the city.
On Tuesday, June 3 banner proclaiming “Veer Savarkar flyover” was found placed at the Pumpwell Flyover, later, the police removed it.
