Bantwal: 19-year-old college student drowns in Nethravathi river

Bantwal: In a tragic incident, a college student met watery grave while swimming in Netravati river in Talemogaru of Sajeevapadu village in Bantwal taluk. Four others have been rescued.
The deceased has been identified as Harshith (19), a resident of Talemogaru and son of Rukmaiah. Likith, Vikesh, and Vishal have been rescued. One of them has been admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru.
The tragedy occurred when Harshith had been to the river for a swim along with his friends.
