Bantwal: 2 police official earn praise for helping old-aged woman

Bantwal: A short video clip of two policemen in the taluk helping an old-aged woman has gone viral on social media.

Jinnu, the woman in Garodi at Panjikallu village in the taluk here is helped by two policemen in getting her daily needs for her.

Police constable Vijay and Vishwanath Peraje work in highway patrol vehicle under the rural police station.

Jinnu’s husband and son died of illness and she presently lives with her daughter. She was in an economically dire condition.

After learning of her situation, the two police personnel came to her help.

During the period of lockdown, two other police personnel on beat Basavaraj and Sub Inspector Prasanna also helped Jinnu and her daughter with food and other things.
