Bantwal accident: Vitla Mescom Department AEE passes away

Bantwal: The Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) of Vitla Mescom Department, who sustained critical injuries in a road mishap earlier today passed away at a hospital where he had been admitted.

The deceased Praveen Joshi was among the five persons who were injured in a road mishap in Manihalla, Bantwal on Friday, October 21. He was admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru for treatment. He however died without responding to the treatment.

The incident occurred when Praveen Joshi’s car collided with another car coming from Bantwal near Manihalla. Following this, a KSRTC bus rammed into both vehicles.

The other victims are said to have sustained minor injuries.
