Bantwal boy who won Edu Min’s praise makes Kottige using toes in viral video

Mangaluru: A video of Kaushik Acharya of Bantwal in which he can be seen making jackfruit leaf cups for Kottige with his toes has gone viral on social media.
Kottige (steamed idlis in jackfruit leaf cups) is a Mangalorean delicacy, which is usually prepared on Ganesh Chaturthi and Krishna Janmashtami festivals.
Kaushik was earlier in the news after a photo of his writing the SSLC exams with his toes had gone viral. Education Minister Suresh Kumar had praised the highly-spirited boy in a tweet and had even visited his house, on July 10 after the examinations were over.
Kaushik who does all his tasks independently excels in both academic and other extracurricular activities and has never let his disability come in the way of his dreams. He pursues other interests like drawing, yoga, swimming, cricket with his feet.
He secured 85 per cent marks in the SSLC exams.
