A Divyang man sustained injuries after an electric pole fell on his three-wheeled scooter near SVS college in Bantwal here yesterday.
The injured identified as Ismail, a resident of Golipadpu is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Mangaluru.
Owing to the heavy rains lashing the district, tree branches had collapsed on the electric pole here. The pole subsequently came crashing down on Ismail’s scooter when he was passing through this way.
The scooter has been damaged in the incident.
