Bantwal: Elderly woman killed in auto rickshaw-car collision

Bantwal: An elderly woman was killed in a collision between a car and an auto-rickshaw at Subbakodi near Amtur here on Sunday, February 6.

Devaki (70) who was a passenger on the rickshaw lost her life as she was thrown onto the road due to the impact, sources said.

The Auto driver Bhoja Moolya also sustained injuries. Both vehicles were also damaged. However, the occupants of the car escaped unhurt.

A case has been registered at the Bantwal Traffic Police Station.
