Bantwal: Gold, diamond ornaments stolen from house

Bantwal: In a suspected case of burglary, gold and diamond jewellery worth Rs 4.90 lakh went missing from a house at Modankapu in B Mooda village.
The owner of the house Sumana Bhandary lives in Bangalore, her mother and helpers live in the Modankaup house.
On February 28, Sumana had come to Modankaup to visit her ailing mother. She had kept her gold and diamond jewellery in an almirah.
On March 2, when Sumana opened the almirah, she found lakhs worth of jewellery missing. Later, she filed a complaint at Bantwal police station.
