Bantwal: Land acquisition for BC Road-Addahole highway work completed

Mangaluru: The land acquisition at Kalladka for BC Road-Addahole highway work has been completed.

The building demolition work is now underway.

Most of the old and prominent buildings including K T Hotel, the Office of Gombe Balaga, Mahamayi Katte, Kalladka rice mill, Shilpa watch shop etc are being demolished.

While a few demolished buildings are being constructed behind the old one, a few others are being built on the outskirts of the town.

The widening work of the 63-km stretch of the national highway (NH) 75 will take place in two phases.
One phase of work will be undertaken from Periyashanthi to B C Road and the other phase will be from Addahole to Periyashanti.
