Bantwal: A leopard, supposedly in search of food, fell into a well at Maji near Tumhe village in Bantwal taluk.
The well is in the property of Monappa. It is believed that the approximately 2-year-old leopard couldn’t see the well in the night and fell into it.
Forest and Fire Department’s officials conducted a rescue operation and successfully lifted the leopard out of the well.
