Bantwal: Maid files rape complaint against employer’s relative

Bantwal: A housemaid working in a house at B Mooda village near Kaikamba, Bantwal has filed an FIR with the town police here on Saturday, March 14 against the younger brother of her employer for raping her on the threat of death.

The complainant is presently admitted to Wenlock district hospital, Mangaluru.

The alleged victim, who is 19-year-old, is from Bhadravati and after a failed marriage had come to Bantwal for work.

In her complaint, she states that her employer’s younger brother would visit the house when she was alone and rape her.

The police are tracking the accused who has fled.
