Bantwal: Man arrested for killing brother suspecting illicit relations with wife

Bantwal: A man has been arrested for allegedly murdering his brother suspecting an illicit relationship with his wife in Shanthigudde Bondala near Panemangaluru.

The arrested accused has been identified as Ravi, a resident of Bondala Shanthigudde, Panemangalore. Ravi had escaped after murdering his younger brother, Sundara on Friday, August 6.

It is said that Sundara was unmarried and lived alone,  Ravi’s wife was providing him food. But Ravi suspected that they were having an affair.

The two brothers had a heated argument on Friday after which Ravi attacked Sundara with an iron rod. Their other brother, Ramesh rushed to the spot and saw Sundara lying in a pool of blood. Ravi escaped from the spot.

A case has been registered at Bantwal police station and further investigation is underway.
