Bantwal: Bantwal police have arrested a man accused of blackmailing women by threatening to upload their intimate photos over social media.
A complaint in this regard was lodged by the victim’s husband.
According to the police, the accused Radhakrishna, a resident of Mandadi developed physical relationships with several married women and later blackmailed them for money.
The complainant stated that Radhakrishna had demanded over Rs 4 lakh from his wife and as she did not pay the amount he contacted her husband for the money.
Later he shared the victim’s photos on a WhatsApp group that also included her husband.
