Bantwal: In a tragic incident that occurred in Kalladka, a man was found dead while sitting inside his car.
The deceased has been identified as Jagdish a resident of Hosaimar in Goltamajalu village who worked as a driver and videographer for the past few years.
On the morning of March 12, Jagdish went to Taravadu Mane along with his children and brother-in-law for the Daiva service. While returning home, around 1.30 pm, Jagdish reportedly told his brother-in-law to proceed home with the kids as he was finding it difficult to drive the car. He then slept in the car.
However, when Jagdish did not return home even after 7 o’clock in the night, his brother-in-law went to check on him and found him sitting in the car seat. It was noticed that the car glasses were shut, and Jagdish was unresponsive.
It is unclear at this point whether he died due to suffocation from sleeping with the car window and door closed or some other ailment.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident, and a medical report is awaited to determine the exact cause of death.
