Bantwal: Man found dead three days after going missing

Bantwal: A 45-year-old man who had gone missing three days ago was found dead at a hillock in Nayanadu here on Sunday, September 5.

The deceased has been identified as Rajesh Poojary, a resident of Patturle in Kodambettu. He was employed in a hotel at Nayanadu.

Rajesh had on September 2 worried family members had filed a missing complaint the next day in Punjalkatte police station.

The family members along with the locals launched an extensive search operation for Rajesh and had even appealed on social media for help.

On Sunday, Rajesh was found hanging on a hillock located in a private property in Nayanadu.

Police arrived at the spot and conducted an investigation.
