Bantwal: Man from BC Road killed in road accident in Tamil Nadu

Bantwal: A resident of Talapady near B.C. Road here was killed in a tragic road accident at Ambur in Tamil Nadu late on Friday night.
The deceased has been identified as Muhammed Irshad (37).
Irshad, who was into the transport business, had left home on Friday afternoon along with Abdul Azeez of Pallamajalu on a lorry carrying fish from Mangaluru docks.
According to sources, the accident occurred at around midnight on Friday. The lorry which was being driven by Azeez hit a parked lorry at Ambur, killing Irshad on the spot. Azeez, meanwhile, escaped with minor injuries.
It is gathered that Irshad who was employed abroad had returned home after the Covid-19 lockdown ended. He had recently purchased a lorry which was used for transporting fish from Mangaluru to Chennai. Irshad is survived by his mother, wife, son, and daughter.
