Bantwal: Caterer killed in horrific road accident

A man who sustained serious injuries in a car-tanker collision near Bantwal on BC Road-Punjalakatte highway on June 1, died without responding to treatment.
The victim was identified as Roshan Serrao, a resident of Madyanthar who ran a catering business. He had been admitted to a hospital in Mangaluru, but passed away due to the grievous nature of his injuries.
Reportedly the Maruti car veered off the road as a result of the head-on collision between the vehicles. The impact was so severe that the car was mangled beyond recognition.
Bantwal police visited the spot and registered a case.
