Bantwal: Nearly 25 passengers, including students injured after bus falls into trench

Bantwal: As many as 25 passengers, including students, on a private bus sustained injuries after the private bus in which they were travelling fell into a trench here on March 31.

The incident took place near SVS college in Bantwal after the bus driver lost control of the vehicle.

Most of the passengers on the bus were students who were travelling to the college for their examination. The injured have been shifted to the government hospital in Bantwal.

Health Minister Dr Sudhakar, who is on a 2-day trip to the coastal districts, alongwith MLA Rajesh Naik visited and enquired upon the health of the injured at the hospital.
