Bantwal: Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run mishap

Bantwal: A 60-year-old pedestrian died after an unidentified vehicle hit her and drove off near Kaikamba on Mangaluru – Bengaluru National Highway on Thursday, May 26.
The deceased has been identified as Rajamma (60) a daily wage construction laborer from Kerala.
The incident occurred around 11 am. Rajamma was walking by the side of the road when an unidentified vehicle hit her and sped away.
Rajamma who was critically injured in the accident died in the hospital later.
A case has been registered.
