Bantwal: Several vehicles including a lorry, a minibus, and a car were involved in a serial accident in front of the KSRTC bus stand on BC Road on Wednesday.

It is gathered that the accident happened when the lorry driver braked suddenly. The mini-bus, which was following the lorry, hit the back of the lorry. The lorry was carrying oversized iron goods. The impact shattered the mini bus’s glass.

No serious injuries were reported in the incident.

Due to the collision, the lorry moved forward and hit a WagonR car. The mini-bus and the car were heavily damaged, while the lorry sustained minor damages.

The accident caused a traffic jam on the highway near BC Road. The Bantwala traffic police arrived at the scene quickly andy cleared the vehicles and restored smooth traffic flow.

Police are investigating the incident.
