Bantwal: Several people injured after 2 cars collide at Farla

Bantwal: Several people were seriously injured in a collision between an Omni and a Swift car in front of the Church at Farla on the BC Road-Belthangady State Highway on Sunday morning.
The injured have been rushed to a private hospital in Manglauru.
The Omni driver identified as Royson, 3 passengers on the Omni including children were among the injured. The driver of the Swift car, identified as Adil, was also injured in the incident.
The passengers on the Omni were on their way to the Sunday Mass at the Farla church from the direction of Vogga. When the Omni was taking a turn to reach the Church the speeding Swift car rammed it from behind.
The Omni overturned due to the impact and was dragged to a considerable distance, before coming to a stop. Passengers trapped in the wreckage were rescued by breaking the rear window.
Bantwal police reached the spot and are investigating.
