Bantwal stabbing incident: Police arrest three persons

Police have arrested three persons in connection with stabbing incident that took place at Thumbe junction in Bantwal here on August 4 evening.

The arrested are identified as Ashwath, Sharan, and Vasanth. The police is on the lookout for the remaining suspects.

The incident took place when the complainant, Harish Poojari encountered the suspects at bypass junction. The accused allegedly waylaid him and verbally abused him with foul language. When Harish objected, they attacked him. Hearing Harish’s cries for help, his friends Keerthan, Prithviraj, and Vineeth rushed to the scene to intervene, but the suspects assaulted them as well.

The injured victims, Harish Poojari, Vineeth, and Prithviraj, are currently receiving treatment in a hospital for the injuries sustained during the attack.
