Bantwal: Thieves decamp with gold valuing Rs 12 lac

Bantwal: In a case of theft reported at Kalladka here, thieves decamped with gold sovereigns valuing worth Rs 12 lakh on Tuesday, October.
Amtoor resident Sulaiman was looted when members of the family were asleep. The thieves gained entry into the residence by breaking open the door latch.
In his complaint, Sulaiman said that he heard some nosie at around 2 am and when he woke up to investigate the matter he found that the gold belonging to his married daughter had been stolen from the cupboard.
Bantwal town police registered a case.
